This was the eighteenth time that the Miaoli office of DDMSWCF has held such an event. This time, a total of 35 students received stipends. Among them, five were from elementary school, eight from junior high, thirteen from senior high, and the rest were college students.

After the presentation ceremony, each student received a small gift and a copy of the late Chan Master Venerable Sheng Yen’s Chinese book, “The Naughty Childhood of Master Sheng Yen.” DDMSWCF presented the books in the hope of encouraging the students to continue their enthusiasm in learning and to embrace their dreams without fear. The event had a jolly atmosphere, and was concluded with the taking of a group photograph.
